The only more frustrating thing was that - since you can’t occupy land bound non-capitals - after I made peace with a slave faction (couldn’t be bothered to kill off their last four cities) to defend against wood eves that started attacking in Bretonnia, I ended up having a severe rat infestation as they very quickly occupied essentially all cities I had razed in Bretonnia and the Empire. I had a couple of armies rampage around destroying things and another couple moving around to whack attackers. As some have said, you may have to defend more than you would like for a while, but I thought that was quite fun actually. One of the most fun campaigns I’ve played actually (have played all races, but not all LHs). #TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER NORSCA RELEASE TIME MODS#That said, there are some mods that do a good job of making Norsca more viable. The DLC is due out August 10th according to Steam, but the press release put out by Feral claim that itll be out 'later this summer'. #TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER NORSCA RELEASE TIME UPDATE#It can be fun but definitely needs an update and probably wont get one until after WH3 has launched. You can pre-order the Norsca DLC from Steam where it’s 10 off before launch. The result of this is you are usually forced to play defensively as Norsca when their entire race is designed to travel all over the map raiding and pillaging. The thing is that the AI in the current game will mostly just ignore the corruption and attack your vulnerable settlements and since AI factions get such powerful public order bonuses, they can settle pretty easily. Norsca cannot build walls so it has to rely on its very hostile homeland (both cold and chaos corruption). The main problem with this race is the fact that it's not been updated. Their special hunt mechanic is unique and a lot of fun but can be awkward since their campaign can get bogged down and extremely challenging very quickly. They only have two legendary lords and only one generic lord type, which can feel restrictive. The DLC is available on Steam for pre-load now for $8.99.Norsca has a solid roster that specializes is rush tactics and is very good at taking down large single entities. #TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER NORSCA RELEASE TIME PC#Warhammer II will be available September 28th on PC for fans anticipating its release. The DLC itself will be playable August 1oth for those who own the first game and have pre-ordered Warhammer II. While the DLC will be for the first game only, Sega and Creative Assembly plan to release a combined campaign that will span across both titles and will eventually make the Norsca playable in both games (for free). Despite whether or not players own the DLC, they will still be able to encounter the race and interact with the new challenges within the game. While this is an “early adopters” bonus, players will still have the option to purchase this new Total War race for the first game, even if they didn’t pre-order Warhammer II. They live in a realm of intense blizzards fighting ferocious beasts and lay waste to their enemies. The Norsca race is a barbaric tribe that prides themselves on hunting and pillaging in the name of their dark gods. From the unpleasantly chilly northern edge of Total War: Warhammer’s official site Old World comes its final DLC faction: Norsca. Check them out in the introductory cinematic trailer below: A new Total War race is coming to the first installment in the franchise called the Norsca and they look to be a mighty force to be reckoned with. A new incentive to pre-order Warhammer II has arrived with something new to entice players for its predecessor.
